Make the Syrup
Combine sugar and water in a pot. Add cardamom and bring to a boil. Simmer for 10 minutes. Add rose water and saffron.

Prepare the Dough
Mix milk powder, flour, and baking soda. Add melted ghee and enough milk to form a soft, smooth dough.

Shape the Jamuns
Divide dough into 12 portions. Roll each into a smooth ball without cracks.

Fry to Golden
Heat ghee on low-medium heat. Fry balls slowly until deep golden brown, about 8-10 minutes.

Soak & Serve
Transfer hot jamuns directly into warm syrup. Let them soak for at least 2 hours.
